Carlos is the founder of Amazonia tours Peru and an experienced tour leader in the Manu National Park, with more than 18 years of experience who was born in the Peruvian Amazon. Due to his career in ecotourism, Carlos has the knowledge to organize tours ideally focused on wildlife observation, while guaranteeing sustainable and environmentally friendly operations.

Tours to Manu National Park take place by bus, boat, hiking and consist of the observation and photography of flora and fauna through the Andes, cloud forest of the Peruvian Amazon.
The vehicles we use are comfortable 18-passenger minivan with plenty of space for our group of Maximum 06 people. Our boats are specially designed to navigate the rivers of the Peruvian Amazon, 15-meter-long motorized boats equipped with very comfortable individual seats, the boat has life jackets and are roofed for protection from the sun and rain.
Accommodations on a tour of Manu National Park are entirely in lodges, some rooms with private bathrooms and showers, there is the possibility of solar energy to recharge batteries from our cameras and electronic equipment.
Yes, the mineral water is provided by us during the tour, you only need to bring a bottle of water for the first day, bus day, then you can refill your bottle of water at any time in the dining rooms of each lodge, due to the characteristics of the tour developed in the Amazon it is important that you drink enough water and thus stay hydrated.
On the first day of the tour we traveled through the Andes and the cloud forest, you must bring a jacket and a sweater on the first night at Bamboo lodge the temperatures are between 15 and 20 degrees Celsius.

On our tours to Manu National Park, the maximum size of the group is 6 people per guide, in this way everyone can enjoy the walks in the forest, observe, photograph and listen to the explanations of the guide.
You must be prepared for mosquitoes in the Amazon forest, bring long-sleeved clothes and mosquito repellent, the risk of malaria in Manu National Park is very low less than 1%, it is not necessary to take malaria prophylaxis, keep in mind that taking malaria prophylaxis is also not safe.
Leishmaniosis: this is an infectious mosquito disease and affects the skin and mucous membranes, now with the use of repellent and clothing with long sleeves and due to a short stay in Manu it is very low.
In our hostels such as bamboo lodge there is usually electricity and Wi-Fi service. At hummingbird lodge, battery recharging services are provided for our cameras using a gasoline generator for three hours from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, at Casa machiguenka lodge we use electric power and usually offer Wi-Fi service, in Manu Birding lodge battery recharge is also offered for three hours from 6:00: pm to 9:00 pm
We reduce the use of plastic packaging and bottles, and as much as possible we buy fresh products. All the waste we generate is collected in the lodges and returned to Cusco where the recycling is carried out due.
