Knowledgeable like a lexicon with great patience. His passion for this area is "infectious". His persistence to search for and show the maximum of species to his travelers is unmatched! Highly recommend to go with Carlos for the Amazon Expedition - you will be also leave with lots of new knowledge about the whole area and the interdependence of the species in this unique ecosystem.Posted on Nikola KutinTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We went for 5 days/ 4 nights Manu Biosphere tour. This was one of my best trips ever ! Our guide, Carlos, thought us so many things about the birds, climate, mammals, habitats, local tribes… we were able to observe over 100 species of birds and 9 species of monkeys, along with other animals. The food was excellent and the places where we stayed were remote and not touristic but up to standard. I highly recommend Carlos !Posted on Declan McDonaldTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Myself, my wife and a friend completed a 10 day tour of Manu under the careful guidance of Carlos Aguilar Gastanaga. I was concerned that I wouldn't see too much in Amazonia due to the density of the vegetation but Carlos knew the sound of each bird, where to look, and helped us to see so much. Carlos also has a deep understanding of native cultures and explained so much about customs and practice. The trip was a 10/10 but Carlos made it a 12/10. He is kind, conscientious and passionate about his work. And a great guy as well. Definitely ask for Carlos as your guide.Posted on RAFAELTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We have just completed a 5 day tour of Manu National Park with Amazonia Tours Peru. Amazing in every way. Carlos was our guide, who coupled his great passion for the rain forest- the lungs of the world- with extraordinary knowledge of birds, animals, animal behaviour, plants, trees and culture. He was so diligent, and such a pleasure to travel with. We saw literally hundreds of types of birds, cayman, giant otters, numerous species of monkeys and other Amazonian critters:) The food was delicious (thanks Paulinho), Exon’s boat driving was skillful and a great adventure. Thanks to all.
