TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF RESERVATION
Thank you for choosing Amazonia Tours Peru. By booking any of our tours, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions, which form a legally binding contract between you and AmazoniaToursPeru.com. These terms outline important information regarding bookings, payments, cancellations, travel risks, and liability.
We recommend reading this page carefully before making a reservation.
1. Contract and Booking
All reservations made through AmazoniaToursPeru.com, by email, or through our authorized agents are subject to these Terms and Conditions. A booking becomes legally confirmed only when we send you a written confirmation or payment receipt.
Once confirmed, a contract exists between Amazonia Tours Peru and the client (the “Customer”), including all travelers listed in the booking.
Amazonia Tours Peru reserves the right to decline any booking prior to confirmation.
2. Travel in Manu National Park
Our tours operate in remote areas of the Peruvian Amazon, including Manu National Park, where standards of accommodation, transport, and infrastructure may differ from those in developed countries.
By booking with Amazonia Tours Peru, you acknowledge that:
• Travel in the Amazon requires flexibility and patience
• Itineraries may change due to weather, river conditions, or other circumstances
• Safety and conservation always take priority
We reserve the right to modify itineraries when necessary due to force majeure, including weather, natural disasters, political events, health risks, or other circumstances beyond our control.
3. Travel Insurance
All travelers must have valid travel insurance covering:
• Medical emergencies
• Accidents
• Evacuation and repatriation
• Trip cancellation
• Lost or damaged luggage
Personal belongings, including cameras, electronics, and binoculars, are the responsibility of the traveler.
We recommend sending us your insurance company name and policy number before arrival.
4. Health and Risk Acknowledgment
Traveling in the Amazon rainforest involves inherent risks, including wildlife, terrain, climate, and limited access to medical facilities.
By booking a tour with Amazonia Tours Peru, you accept these risks and agree that the company cannot be held responsible for accidents or injuries beyond our control.
5. Required Documents
You must provide:
• A valid passport
• Any updated passport information if changed after booking
• A valid ISIC card (if applicable)
6. Payments and Deposits
To confirm a reservation, we require:
• A deposit of USD 250 per person
The remaining balance must be paid before departure in Cusco in:
• Cash (USD or Peruvian Soles)
• Bank transfer
• Western Union
• PayPal (fees apply)
All transaction fees are paid by the client.
7. Cancellations
• Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable
• No refunds for money transfer fees
• Cancellations must be sent by email
If the tour is canceled on the departure date or after it has started, no refund will be given.
Once the full balance is paid, no refunds are possible as all services are prepaid.
We can provide a confirmation letter for insurance claims upon request.
